Setting up custom domains for your Public Hub
You will require DNS access to your domain registrar to complete this setup. This will allow your custom domain or subdomain of choice to point to Stae's Open Data Hub.
1. Add the domain to your Hub
Navigate to the Hub Settings and add your domain to the input, click "Add".
2. Update your domain's DNS settings
Your domain's DNS settings will vary depending on the registrar used. Please contact us if you are having difficulty setting up your DNS.
In your DNS settings add a new CNAME record pointing your domain or subdomain of choice to
open.municipal.systems
For example:
Once saved it will take approximately 2-5 minutes for your registrar to update globally.
Continue with the verification process by clicking "Verify Setup"
You can now access your open data hub with your custom domain!
Troubleshooting
Is your domain correctly pointing with a CNAME record to open.municipal.systems?
The DNS may take a while to propagate. Try waiting a few minutes and re-verify.
